Yuanchen Technology has recently been awarded the contract for the #1 furnace wide temperature difference catalyst replacement project at Puyang Yuengeng Power Generation Co., Ltd."

Puyang Yueng Power Generation Co., Ltd (referred to as "PYPG") is now in the process of installing 2×660MW units. The #1 unit was commissioned in November 2017 and successfully completed a full-load test run in August 2018. The scope of this tender involves the installation of a two-layer wide temperature catalyst module designed for long-term continuous operation within the temperature range of 250℃ to 420℃.

Puyang cogen power station is a 470-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Henan Province, China.

Under the environmental requirements of ultra-low emission, most power plants are equipped with SCR denitrification system. Due to the reduced flue gas temperature during unit peaking and low load operation, the conventional room temperature SCR denitrification catalyst cannot meet the use, resulting in NOx emission exceeding the standard.

To address the new normal of deep peaking in coal-fired units, Yuanchen Technology has successfully developed a wide temperature difference denitrification catalyst suitable for the range of 250℃ to 420℃. The implementation of this catalyst resolves the issue of substandard NOx emissions and other pollutants during deep peaking in coal-fired units. It eliminates the need for flue gas heat treatment, ensures catalyst performance, enables energy savings, and reduces costs and emissions for customers.

Yuanchen Technology's wide temperature difference catalysts have been successfully applied in various power plants, including NIT Pingwei Power Plant, NIT Shentou Power Plant, China Resources Gugong Power Plant, Jinan Slurry Spring Thermal Power Plant, and Shanxi Lanhua Technology.
