With the support of 16 academicians, more than 30 nominating organizations and more than 100 nominating and judging experts, the 2021 Environmental Technology Progress Award was successfully completed, with 31 projects winning the first and second prizes. According to incomplete statistics, the award-winning achievements in 2021 include 15 international patents, 471 invention patents and 550 other intellectual property rights such as utility model patents; from 2018 to 2020, the related output value will be as high as 50 billion yuan and the profit will be 10 billion yuan, which fully reflects the acceleration of China's environmental technology innovation. Among them, Yuanchen Technology won the second prize of 2021 Technology Progress Award for the key technology research application of special denitrification catalyst for cement kiln flue gas treatment.

Project Introduction: The further improvement of pollutant emission standards in cement industry is an inevitable trend for the development of the industry. Currently, most of the production lines in domestic cement industry adopt "low nitrogen combustion + SNCR" technology to treat NOx, but with the tightening of national environmental protection policy, the current treatment technology in cement industry can hardly meet the ultra-low emission requirements, and SCR denitrification technology is the ideal choice at this stage. The high dust concentration, large alkaline content, small particle size and high viscosity in cement kiln flue gas can have a serious impact on common vanadium and titanium denitrification catalysts. Combined with the characteristics of cement kiln flue gas, the application of SCR denitrification technology in cement kilns requires the corresponding denitrification catalysts to be resistant to dust scouring, alkali/alkaline earth metal poisoning, ultra-fine dust coverage and heavy metal poisoning. In order to make the denitrification catalysts with these properties, a large number of other additives are added during the catalyst preparation process. These denitrification catalysts containing large amounts of additives will become hazardous waste at the end of their 2-3 year service life. According to statistics, about 100,000 m3 of waste denitrification catalysts will be produced in China every year, and their unreasonable disposal will seriously threaten the ecological environment. Although the resource recycling technology of vanadium-titanium-tungsten catalysts represented by power plants is relatively mature, the modified denitrification catalysts for cement kiln flue gas still face technical difficulties in resource recycling of spent catalysts. Therefore, the research and development of high-efficiency denitrification catalysts for cement kiln flue gas treatment and its resource recycling technology is the key to realize the technological upgrading and sustainable development of cement industry.
After 2 years of research and development, the project team completed the research and development of the technical system of anti-abrasion, anti-alkali metal poisoning and anti-heavy metal poisoning of cement kiln denitrification catalyst end face through theoretical, methodological and technical research and development, solved the difficulties of cement kiln denitrification catalyst large hole molding and waste catalyst resourceful recycling, and realized the breakthrough of denitrification catalyst product type and industrial chain cycle in cement kiln industry. The project results obtained 3 invention patents and 5 utility model patents.
The project results were successfully applied to the SCR denitrification project of 1# line of Chaohu Conch Cement Co., Ltd. and the derived products are widely used in industrial flue gas SCR denitrification projects in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, Yangtze River Delta region, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau-Great Bay Area, Yangtze River Economic Belt region, etc. The company's denitrification catalysts have accumulated sales of RMB 430 million in the past 2 years, significantly improving the technical level of flue gas treatment in China's cement kilns and providing a viable solution for China's The company has significantly improved the technology level of flue gas treatment in China's cement kilns and provided technical guarantee for the pollution treatment of cement industry.
