Temperature resistance: glass fiber itself is very high temperature resistance, up to even close to 600 degrees, but in order to ensure the softness of glass fiber folding resistance and other characteristics, in the fiber added many additives, and the temperature of these additives can only be below 280 degrees.

Corrosion resistance: can withstand weak alkali, weak acid, but alkali-free glass fibre is more easily eroded by inorganic acids, not suitable for acidic environments.

Hydrolysis-resistance: resistance to hydrolysis in general, especially in the role of acid and high temperature

Oxidation-resistance: excellent resistance to oxidation, can resist general strong oxides

Fibre characteristics: the current common use of glass fibre for alkali-free glass, a borosilicate glass, itself colorless, but due to the different colour of the treatment agent will also have a slight difference. The fiber strength is high, elongation at break is low, thermal shrinkage under, so there is a better dimensional stability, but the fiber is not resistant to folding, not wear, so not suitable for high dust concentration or high dust bag air speed occasions.
