How to effectively extend the service life of dust bag
Nov 12, 2021Dust filter bags are also called filter dust bags, dust filter bags, dust collector bags, etc. The key part of the bag filter operation process, usually cylindrical filter bags are hung vertically in the dust collector.
Dust-removing cloth bags usually use fibers as raw materials, and use the filtering effect of fiber fabrics to filter dust-containing gas. After acupuncture, shaping, singeing, calendering, coating, etc., the dust removal performance is superior. However, under working conditions such as high temperature, friction, and stretching, the service life of the dust bag is greatly reduced. So, how can we prolong the service life of the dust bag and make it reach the best condition?
Factors affecting the service life of dust bag
1. The amount of flue gas
The area is small and the wind speed is large, which leads to the increase of the pressure of the dust bag. Over time, it will cause wear and damage to the dust filter bag. The quality of coal determines the amount of flue gas, and the amount of flue gas directly affects the service life of the dust collection bag
2. Smoke content
After the dust enters the dust collector, due to the difference in diameter and weight, some dust with a relatively large diameter will fall under the influence of gravity, and the dust with a relatively small particle size will generate kinetic energy under the action of wind speed. When dust is intercepted on the filter bag or adhered to the surface of the filter bag, it will have a strong impact on the filter bag. Driven by kinetic energy, the dust constantly washes the filter bag. If the smoke content is relatively large and the wind speed is also high, the dust filter bag will withstand tens of thousands of frictions, causing the fibers on the surface of the filter bag to fall off.
3. Soot particles
According to the particle size of the dust, it is divided into three types: coarse dust, fine dust and micro dust. The particle size is different, the impact force on the dust filter bag is also different. When the dust content has acidic and alkaline values, it is intercepted by the bag due to its small diameter. It cannot fall off from staying on the surface of the Industrial filter bag or enter the inside of the filter bag. After interacting with water, it will stick to the surface of the filter bag, causing corrosion of the filter bag.
4. Types of smoke and dust
Dust can be divided into organic dust, inorganic dust and mixed dust according to its category. For the analysis of inorganic dust, there are mainly FeA, CaO, MgO, Si02, and elements. Among them, the two elements that seriously affect the filter bag are Si02 and Fe203. Under the action of wind speed, the scouring frequency of the filter bag is high, and the damage of the filter bag is increased.
5. Temperature indicators
The filter material can be divided into normal temperature filter material, medium temperature filter material and high temperature filter material according to the amount of temperature it withstands. Generally speaking, the high temperature that can withstand is about 200℃~300℃, and the temperature tolerance of the glass fiber filter material is 300℃, but the working temperature should be controlled at about 260℃.
6. The distribution of airflow
The distribution of airflow is also an important factor affecting the quality of the filter bag. If the dust removal equipment is designed due to unreasonable airflow, the local airflow is too large. Working under such conditions will cause damage to the filter bag. The usual solution is to design a baffle in the dust collector to change the direction of the airflow.
Measures to extend the life of filter bags
1. Appropriate filtering wind speed
Generally, when the dust concentration is high, the wind speed of the filter should be lower, and vice versa. The smaller the dust particles, the lower the wind speed of the filter, and vice versa.
2. Pre-spray to prevent oil adhesion
When the boiler is ignited and operating under low load, it usually takes a long time to drain the oil. If the filter bag is not pre-treated when the oil fume passes through the filter bag, it will cause irreversible damage to the filter bag.
3. Correct injection pressure and pulse width
Adjust the appropriate blowing pressure and pulse width to avoid excessive blowing pressure.
4. Suitable exhaust temperature
Strictly control the change of exhaust temperature to prevent it from being too high or too low.
