1.PTFE Fiber

1) Excellent temperature resistance, reaching 280 degrees.

2) Due to the special molecular structure of PTFE material, it has excellent chemical stability and corrosion resistance, which can improve the chemical attack of the filter material.

3) Due to the non-stick, water-repellent and non-combustible characteristics of PTFE fiber materials, this kind of fiber is the most excellent filter material.

4) The fiber is used as a base fabric, and the strength is not guaranteed to be attenuated during long-term use.

Fiber morphology: Because of the different spinning methods, the fiber color is divided into white and brown. The white fiber is relatively pure, the fiber shape is mostly flat, and the brown fiber contains a small amount of impurities, and the fiber shape is mostly round.

The F atom in the PTFE molecule covers the C-C bond and the C-F bond energy is particularly stable, and it is not attacked by any chemicals other than the alkali metal and fluorine. The F atom in the PTFE molecule is symmetric, and the two elements in the C-F are covalently combined. There is no free electron in the molecule, and the whole molecule is neutral. The PTFE has excellent dielectric properties. Due to the extra fluorine-containing outer shell of the PTFE molecule, it has outstanding non-stick properties and a low coefficient of friction. PTFE has outstanding excellent comprehensive properties, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, hydrolysis resistance, non-stickiness, self-lubrication, excellent dielectric properties, and low friction coefficient.

2.Fiberglass Fiber

The most practical advantages of glass fiber are high temperature resistance, good dimensional stability and high tensile strength at break. In terms of chemical resistance, glass fiber is stable to other media except hydrofluoric acid, high temperature, strong acid and alkali. The disadvantage of glass fiber is that it has poor folding resistance and poor wear resistance. Although it is not resistant to folding and abrasion, it is inexpensive.

Temperature resistance: glass fiber itself has high temperature resistance, and the maximum temperature can be as close as 600 degrees. However, in order to ensure the softness and folding resistance of glass fiber, many additives are added to the fiber, and the temperature resistance of these additives can only be Below 280 degrees.

Corrosion resistance: It can withstand weak alkali and weak acid, but alkali-free glass fiber is more easily attacked by inorganic acid and is not suitable for acidic environment.

Hydrolysis resistance: general hydrolysis resistance, especially under the action of acid and high temperature,

Oxidation resistance: excellent oxidation resistance, resistant to general strong oxides

Fiber characteristics: The glass fiber currently in common use is alkali-free glass, which is a borosilicate glass, which itself is colorless, but there are some differences due to the different colors of the treatment agent. The fiber has high strength, low elongation at break, and heat shrinkage, so it has good dimensional stability, but the fiber is not resistant to folding and abrasion, and therefore is not suitable for high dust concentration or high filtration wind speed.
